I’ve spent the last decade helping people shape stories, refine ideas, and bring meaningful work into the world. Before I ever called myself an author or book coach, I built a career around writing, editing, strategy, messaging, and guiding leaders through seasons of growth and reinvention.

I’ve written books, edited manuscripts, coached authors, ghostwritten projects, overseen marketing and communication for organizations, managed content for businesses, created programs for women leaders, and guided entrepreneurs through refining their message and building what matters most.

I’ve worked with executives, small business owners, speakers, nonprofit leaders, community builders, creators, and first-time writers who needed clarity, confidence, and direction. My work has spanned various sectors, including local government, chambers of commerce, creative studios, publishing projects, and women’s leadership circles.

I’ve shaped strategic plans, overhauled websites, directed storytelling initiatives, crafted campaigns, managed major events, and helped organizations articulate who they are and what they stand for. I’ve led teams, built programs from scratch, and supported clients through rebrands, pivots, launches, and book-writing journeys.

And through all of it, one thing has been consistent: I’ve always been the person people come to when they need to find their story, frame their message, and make their work stronger.

That’s why I do what I do now.

As the founder of Shadow Scribe Media and Strategic House, my work now centers on helping authors, leaders, and mission-driven organizations develop books, messages, and strategies that align with who they are and where they’re going. Whether I’m guiding someone from concept to completed manuscript, shaping an organization’s narrative, or building the strategic and marketing systems behind a business, my approach blends structure, craft, and intentional partnership.

When I’m not writing or working with clients, I’m in Arizona hanging out with family and friends, soaking up desert mornings, sipping strong coffee or a good glass of wine, and savoring work that changes people from the inside out.

My nonfiction books—Disrupt Your Default and Write That Book Already—are part of that work. They give women the tools, clarity, and courage to stop waiting and start building what’s next. And the fiction I’m writing helps me explore story in another way, where imagination, truth, and craft meet.
