I’m Mea Brown

Author. Storyteller. Curious Observer of Life.

I've spent more than two decades working alongside business owners, entrepreneurs, leadership teams, and organizations navigating growth, change, complexity, and reinvention.

Those experiences have shaped much of my writing, but they are only part of the story.

I am equally fascinated by creativity, books, family, travel, hospitality, personal growth, and the everyday choices that shape the quality of our lives.

Today, I divide my time between writing, speaking, publishing, creative ventures, and exploring the ideas that eventually find their way into books, essays, and conversations.

I live in Arizona with my husband Steve, where we're building the next chapter of life one story, one adventure, and one thoughtful choice at a time.

Current Work

My work today spans several connected areas, each rooted in thoughtful growth, clarity, creativity, and intentional living.

Books & Writing

Books have always been one of the deepest expressions of my work.

Through nonfiction, essays, and future fiction projects, I write about reinvention, personal growth, leadership, entrepreneurship, creativity, resilience, and the evolving relationship between ambition and a well-lived life.

My hope is simple: to help readers think more clearly, live more intentionally, and move forward with greater confidence, courage, and purpose.

Speaking & Collaborations

I occasionally speak to organizations, leadership groups, business owners, and community audiences on topics including reinvention, leadership, entrepreneurship, personal growth, creativity, resilience, and building a meaningful life.

For speaking engagements, media inquiries, podcasts, collaborations, or select advisory opportunities, I'd love to connect.

Copper and Vine Living

Alongside my husband Steve, I'm building Copper & Vine Living, a creative ecosystem exploring thoughtful living, storytelling, creativity, craftsmanship, hospitality, entrepreneurship, travel, and the intentional creation of a meaningful life.

It serves as the home for many of the ideas, projects, and adventures we're exploring together.

A Different Way of Building

For much of my life, I believed success was about building more.

More goals, more growth, more accomplishments, and more responsibility.

Over time, I've come to believe something different.

The most meaningful things we build are not always businesses, careers, or achievements. Sometimes they are relationships, creative pursuits, traditions, communities, homes, and lives that reflect what matters most.

Today, my work explores the intersection of creativity, business, leadership, personal growth, and thoughtful living.

Whether I'm writing a book, sharing an essay, speaking with a group, or exploring a new idea, I'm interested in one question:

How do we create lives that feel successful and meaningful?

The Journal

The Journal is where ideas take shape.

Part notebook, part reflection, and part conversation, these essays explore business, creativity, family, entrepreneurship, personal growth, thoughtful living, and the lessons that emerge when we slow down long enough to pay attention.

Some entries begin with a question. Others begin with a story. All are part of an ongoing exploration of what it means to build a meaningful life.

Let’s Stay Connected

I write nonfiction and fiction that explore creativity, reinvention, business, family, personal growth, thoughtful living, and the questions many of us find ourselves asking as life evolves.

Through books, essays, and stories, I examine what it means to build meaningful work, meaningful relationships, successful businesses, and a life that feels aligned with who we've become.
